KINSHIP

House rules

Community guidelines

KINSHIP is for adults aged 18+ who are part of, or respectfully connected to, masc community. These rules apply everywhere in the app.

Respect everyone's labels — or none

  • Use the names and pronouns people share. Never demand someone disclose their identity.
  • No transphobia, racism, misogyny, ableism or gatekeeping who is "masc enough".

Friendship first

  • This is not a dating or hookup space. No unsolicited sexual comments, advances or treating members as potential dates.
  • Never ask anyone for body photographs. No feature here ever requires one.

A home for the mascs — love for the femmes

  • KINSHIP centres masc people. Femmes and queer women who genuinely connect with the community are welcome too, and treated with the same respect.

Fit Check care

  • No body shaming. Share experiences, not judgements.
  • Member opinions are not medical advice. Stop binding if you feel pain, difficulty breathing or numbness, and seek professional advice.

Privacy

  • Don't share another member's personal details, screenshots or location outside KINSHIP.

Anonymity is not immunity

"Only show my username" protects your privacy from other members. It does not hide you from moderators. Every post, comment and report is tied to your account, and the same rules apply to everyone.

If something's wrong

Use Report on any post, comment or profile, and Block anyone you don't want to see. Every report is reviewed by a real moderator. The person you report never sees who reported them.

How we enforce the rules

  • Remove: content that breaks the rules is taken down.
  • Warn: a first or minor breach usually gets a written warning.
  • Suspend: repeated or serious breaches lead to a temporary suspension.
  • Ban: harassment, hate, threats, sharing private information or targeting members for sex or dating can lead to a permanent ban.

Every moderation action is recorded so decisions stay consistent and can be reviewed.
